The Hub Kilkenny

Getting Here

Kilkenny is well serviced by the national road, rail and bus network.

Located on the main Dublin-Waterford line, there are now six trains per day, both to and from Dublin, enabling commuters to travel easily by public transport to events in either city.

The Hub is located in a commanding roadside position on the Dublin/Carlow road (N10), on the right-hand side as you enter Kilkenny (2km from city centre).

Coming from…

Coming from Dublin/Carlow (N10)

Coming in to Kilkenny you will pass Lyrath Estate Hotel on your right; Shortly after this you will reach the roundabout at The Hub, which is on your right.

Coming from Cork/Limerick/Tipperary (N76)

Coming in to Kilkenny you will reach a roundabout on the Kilkenny Ring Road in front of Hotel Kilkenny; Exit right from this roundabout, continue straight to the end of the Ring Road until you reach the roundabout with the N10; Exit right (for Dublin/Carlow) and continue straight along this road for 2km; You will reach the roundabout at The Hub, which is on your left.

Coming from Waterford (N10)

Coming in to Kilkenny you will reach a roundabout on the Kilkenny Ring Road at the Days Inn Hotel; Exit right from this roundabout, continue straight to the end of the Ring Road until you reach the roundabout with the N10; Exit right (for Dublin/Carlow) and continue straight along this road for 2km; You will reach the roundabout at The Hub, which is on your left.

Coming from Wexford/Thomastown (R700)

Coming in to Kilkenny you will reach a roundabout on the Kilkenny Ring Road at Castle Hill residential estate; Exit right from this roundabout, continue straight to the end of the Ring Road until you reach the roundabout with the N10; Exit right (for Dublin/Carlow) and continue straight along this road for 2km; You will reach the roundabout at The Hub, which is on your left.

Coming from Port Laoise/Athy/Kildare (N78 & N77)

Coming in to Kilkenny on the Castlecomer Road, you will reach the Castlecomer Road roundabout; Exit left at this roundabout, onto the ring road; Continue straight along the ring road, following the signs for Dublin/Carlow and continue straight through the next three roundabouts, as follows:
1: New Orchard Road roundabout
2: Johnswell Road roundabout
3: Hebron Road roundabout
Continue straight to the Carlow Road roundabout; Exit left onto the Dublin/Carlow Road; Continue straight along this road for 2km; You will reach the roundabout at The Hub, which is on your left. (Castlecomer Road roundabout to the Carlow Road roundabout = 2.5miles)
